I did a sketch, then I've just been lassoing and using an airbrush to shade largest to smaller areas. I went from black and white to color in Photoshop.
The shininess feels really easy to capture working from dark to light slowly building up value.

If you check out some skelly heads of humans or even canines you'll see that the hinge of the jawbone is waaay behind the muzzle, right behind the cheeks. When the mouth moves up and down the entire jawbone moves with it.

Just imagine giving your character one of those robot hinge jaws and then add the mouth n whatnot. Also study some skelly heads, it really helps

O-oh. Is that a female? I honestly wasn't sure if they were big pecs or breasts. If that's the case, then you'll definitely want to work on your expression and anatomy. Breasts aren't just big ol' balloons that pop out from the chest. They're sacks. Flesh sacks of fat. They hang from the body.

Her shoulders are way too broad. They look like they're broader than her waist, which is a no-no for females. Her head is too small, and lacks the proper volume a head should have. They're bigger than you think. Brains are fucking huge. Humans (and rats, interestingly) have some of the, if not the, largest brains of all mammals relative to their body size. She also needs a neck.

It looks like you're trying to use some knowledge of muscles, which is good. A little more study will carry you a lot farther. The legs and arms are on the right track, if not quite there yet.

Work on the shoulders and the boobs, if you're gonna draw boobs, and you'll be well on your way to making anons coom. It's commendable to finish any piece, always. Keep working on it.

They're not total failures, just something looks a little off about them. I think it's the lack of structure and overall volume. The way those are shaped in your pic, they should be perkier. Of course, there are such things as saggy boobs, but they wouldn't have that shape at all. Somewhere in there is where the incongruency lies.

This is gonna sound cheesy but if they are better than me, I bow to their strength. I understand that they are better so what happens is that I get inspired me to keep studing. Sometimes I'll go out of my way to ask them for pointers in study material.

Usually this doesn't happen because I don't often find that people that are that much better than me on this board (unless its nsf uwu, that guy is really fucking good). But if I do, Its great because I take their advice if they are kind enough to give it. Art is a grind my friend, a fun one, and it never stops.

Very cute.
There are definitely some issues with the arms. The hands ought to be bigger, the biceps should be smaller, and the forearms should be longer. The human arm (or whatever analogue you're making) follows the golden ratio, which is 1:1.618, with the hands being roughly as long as the biceps (starting from the deltoids to the elbow), and the forearm being about 1.6 times longer than that (or one and a half times). Hands are a LOT bigger than how people generally draw them.
All things considered, I'm impressed you didn't shy away from drawing them. The hands on the arms being obscured by their bodies are pretty well realized. If you blow them up a bit it'll look a lot better.

TL;DR: arm proportions are a bit whack, but not unfixable, hands should be bigger.

Like the other anon said, it's entirely up to you and how much detail you want to put on it. It me maybe three hours to get >>6148110 done. But I didn't bother much with it. I used to spend days on any given piece, but I felt tired and burned out really quick. Letting go of making good stuff has allowed me to have a bigger output and have more fun with the process. It may be what part of your arm you are using to draw. I tried drawing Krystal last night with the cheap Wacom art pad (it's like 8 inches across), and it was hard to get smooth curves because I was forced to use my wrists.

yeah I know im supposed to learn how to draw using my arm but with the height of my desk and everything its really awkward to try and draw on a tablet without relying on my rests so much. I tend to just draw completely with my wrists and rest my arm, its a bad habit.
