This art is oddly familiar, not from a specific place, but like, I've seen several people drawing just like this trying to emulate some style.

Maybe is gatcha life? Some youtuber or whatever, is curious, I'm not good with kids because my natural strong sexual energy and strong musk odor so I can't collect enough samples to truly understand, but I like seeing this sort of drawings, they are cute in a good way, not in a I want to rape it to death way.

I know what you mean; I had a friend who was a very good pixel artist but then lost his mind and and began drawing like this, in a very cutesy "lo-fi" way. I don't have any of this later art saved but it was very mesmerizing.

Some artists that give me that vibe as well are "abunaiyo" a "schizo" jap I follow on pixiv, that is now inactive. Lots of semi-interesting art with cutesy elements. https://www.pixiv.net/en/users/6039710

Back in middle school I threw away a comic that I had continuously worked on from 4 grade. It was all stickfigure art and at the time in 6th grade I thought I was a better artist than that so I decide$ to get rid of the whole thing. I regret it to this day

I am right there with you. My first comics from grade 3 to 5th, trashed because a broad told me to grow up. The 2nd round was 7th to 8th, tossed because I didn't think it was worth anything and gave up on art. Phew! That's the journey though brother!

Don't feel bad, anon. I didn't draw my whole teenaged life because I knew damn well my entire family would make fun of me-- viciously-- which is a sad thing since parents and family are supposed to be considered a "refuge."

Funnily enough, my first sketchbook actually got discovered by my mother, and I got accused of drawing demons. Pretty sure she thinks I'm a future serial-killer now, but I'm way beyond caring at this point.

Btw your art style's wholesome af-- keep it going, brother! GMI!

I still have the comics from my childhood (not mine but a gift) and reread them from time-to-time. Parents would've chucked that as soon as they got their hands on it but I consider that stuff an heirloom.
