I think you should draw the eyes in a more inclined plane (notice the purple lines), this will give a bit of an innocent / sad look at the girls.
Also pay attention on the top right picture to how little distance there is between her left eye and the bottom of her head (green line), tho I think overall your measures seem good.
I don't know how much you wanna emulate it, but I think you need to squish your heads a bit more if you wanna make it look more similar, especially the one on the right of the 3 you posted.
Overall I think mostly if you correct the angle on the eyes and their placement it will look very similar to that artist.

I've been making things with photoshop occasionally for the last 3 or so years. I can't draw, but what I can do is use the photoshop line tool to make rough shapes, then move/transform, and keep doing this over and over until I have something that looks okay, and then I re-draw the outline (usually multiple times). This takes hours.
People who can draw don't need to do this, they know by instinct where to put lines straight away and they do it with a pen, not a mouse.
I overcompensate for my amateur outlines by adding detail in shading. People have said my shading is good. Of course, it's easy to swipe a soft brush tool down the side of an object. But it's obvious my drawings are ugly.
If you're a good artist you don't need detail, you can make something that looks incredible with the bare minimum.

The closer the camera (or bigger the fov), the more noticeable is the foreshortening effect. In your drawing, the camera is not that close to the girls so it's ok to flatten it a bit.

but I mean, we're doing stylized work. there won't be a surefire way to draw a head as every artist has their own preference. some will prefer flatter faces and features while others would rather add more depth to it, for example
observe how your senpai does it and use your fundies to figure out their decisions, then make mistakes and get feedback over how to make it better. also, this thread has a couple great redliners that might help if you decide to post your work
