How do I improve?
Common things I get is to add gesture, make the bodies more stable and to improve lineart. So i tried adding more gesture and then think about if they can stand properly, also i tried improving my linework. and overal penmanship by drawing longer lines.

How do I improve?
Common things I get when posting is to add gesture, make the bodies more stable and to improve lineart. So with that I tried adding more gesture and then think about if they can stand properly, also i tried improving my linework.
Sometime i push the gesture so much that the body looks broken.
I also sometimes get told to work on anatomy but when I do add anatomy knowledge like showing muscles and bones, people say that it looks uncanny with how much detail I add and it doesn't suit the bodies I draw

That said, the perspective is not "wrong" per se, you could get that effect with a camera, but it still looks flat and unnatural.

On average i was filling 2 a4 pages of random stuff a day, both sides, that's all. Just bunch of shit from imagination, mostly the same faces, sometimes from real life like guns and shit. Look up Sinix sketchbook series, that's basically what i did. I was doing it before and after army, but in the army without PC that's all i could do. Youtube tutorials by marc brunet, somenormalartist, mikey and a few others, the usual stuff, i mostly focus on anime since that's what i want to draw and don't bother too much with realism, i can't draw a nose for example.

Yeah that's kinda rough because your style by design is meant to be very simple so you don't want the muscles and such to show, just keep the form in consideration when doing the lineart and most likely when shading.
As for the pose I think you and I have the same problem where I push gesture as I can but struggle to make the pose feel natural. It could be due to lack of life drawing and studying gesture from pictures.

Technique seems to be getting better overall. I would say look into really hammering out your facial structures. Even in the latest one the nose and eyes read somewhat flat. Ear's probably riding too high as the jaw has to meet the base of it.

I would say look into line weight and try referencing actual poses. Some thicker contour lines on these girls would go an incredibly long way in terms of readability. Going through some of Shueisha's Hyper Angle books, and I mean actually drawing each pose, would give you a good feel for what a pose engaged in action (or rest) feels like. Right now your poses have (mostly) sound construction but lack the cohesion of an action behind them.

Even the walking pose has a posed doll-like quality to it rather than a caught moment between strides where you would see the tip of the back foot bending as it's about to leave the ground, for example.

If you're this, the thing is, it's literally the same study but with a different brush, you did a decent copy both times so it really doesn't make me see proper improvement. Don't you have proper examples about shit you've drawn instead of pose studies?
If you're one of the others that didn't get a reply, eh, this thread lost steam, so you need to be VERY good to get (you)s, or bad to get a few. Otherwise your improvement wasn't mind blowing in either direction, or the characters you've drawn just don't catch the eye.

you do it a lot until you get good at it, I'm a bit self conscious about my hatching but I believe I made a good enough job on the shell of the crab in the original pic, look how the hatching tries to follow the curved form "in perspective".
alternatively if you want the hunga bunga way to hatching just draw out the shape of the shadow and fill it with vertical lines like I did in the cast shadow under the helmet of the chin man, that's how I believe I started.
also use a brush with an high minimum diameter so that the hatching is all neat and consistent

I'm not skilled enough to draw from imagination yet, I copied references, you may notice some of those dragons are quite different from the refs, it's not voluntary it's completely a skill issue

Just draw dude, if it's for the lack of progress, not drawing sets you back even further, you could have become a good artist by a few years and instead you'll have no skill. if you're burned out take a break and let it come back naturally, perhaps force it just a bit to get in the rhythm, if not, maybe you've never really liked the process of drawing, just the idea of the finished product. If you feel like you don't got time to draw, then rearrange your life; when I had a job that made it so I could only draw in the weekends, and at times I didn't have the strength to do even that, I left it.

I agree, 2020 was your best one. Likely because it's also the only one you drew in a convincing 3/4 view. You did a good job with the tail overlapping the forms to signify depth. You had the right idea back in 2018 as well, but in 2021 you opted for a more flat perspective with an unconvincing wrap with her tail. 2022 just looks like a mound of mush with no structure. It's good that you're pushing your comfort zone with these poses, but you're not applying construction/perspective appropriately.
