AI cannot reference itself without getting stuck in a pattern loop and the quality degrades.
I suspect for a short while every company will leap for it and for a short while artists abruptly seem obsolete. Then when the creators of the AI realize just how much cash they can make off it, they'll charge an absolutely and utterly insane premium that most wouldn't be able to afford.

Then after a few years the quality will begin the drop. With less artists producing AAA work for corps and movies and such, the AI will be forced to reference itself more and more. Eventually the self-referencing will intensify small errors into bigger ones and it'll become obvious we can't just rely on A.I to produce artwork for us.

It would be pretty easy to just filter out ai images from the learning pool. Most images on the internet have some metadata attached to it, including what software it was edited in.

Personally I think it will end up like it did in chess: we'll get some new, exciting tools to learn from, tools that will help us make even better art. Just as computers didn't make all pro chess players lose their jobs, AI won't make artists lose theirs.

It helped a lot with quickly getting everything blocked in and getting appealing color schemes (or at least more appealing than my usual work). I think AI is a great option for artists that already know basics.

By technical skill I mean she is really good with technology. She learned how to make a vtuber avatar for herself in a short amount of time. Perfectly functional, matches her movements and everything. I struggle to learn new techniques all the time, there's no way I could do that.

You don't quite have a grasp of form yet and would benefit more from simpler subjects like fruit and trees. Artists tend to start with people and animals but ironically those are the two hardest subjects to draw because it requires anatomy knowledge to make anything convincing even to normies.

Try to picture light source in your mind before commiting. It's better to be precise than fast at this stage so you get to define the forms properly.

Also try to use hard brush instead of soft brush. You can get a good resultS with hard brush, but less likely with the other one.
