These two things were made by the same artist.

How? I can't comprehend

really? but it's very simple.
anyone can be a human photocopier.
not many can develop an attractive, poignant art style.
the end, hope this helps

one was heavily referenced and worked on for days, the other is a 5 minutes shitpost

His trad paintings are really good
One would say he'd at least be smart enough to not post stuff that looks bad

If it's on purpose, turned down power level.
Good artists can still decide to draw poorly.
Now, if they legitimately tried with the one on the right, they were either not feeling it or slowly losing their passion for art.

>> No.6083259

>>6083071
the left takes days to complete the right took significantly less time
People who think art is magic and don’t draw think an artist is always working 100%
Draw more

I'm going to need a source on the right. Pic rel is one of the only digital works I could find. This guy's trad paintings are pretty damn good, he's even a decent sculptor

what was the subject of each one? An artist isn't going to pump out the same quality in every picture especially if the right is like a shitpost and the left was for a more serious reason.

>> No.6084740

>>6084737
Never mind. I found the right one on his twitter. It says it's a WIP so it's not even finished. So the comparison is pointless.

Some trad paintier are potato in digital, unless they keep going at it. Pic is Adrian Smith's early cg painting and he already was a monster in trad at the time. Later on he became just as good in digital as well. So it's just a difference in familiarity with the tools.
