I finally decided to get to work on a simple porn game I've had in mind for some time. I have trouble finishing projects, or even starting especially the more ambitious ones, so I feel doing these little "less serious" works would be a great way to get the ball rolling so I don't get stuck thinking I'm not good enough to pull it off. Also I've never developed a proper workflow for digital art so this is a great opportunity to experiment.

So I adjusted the expression a bit, made the eyes just a little bit smaller in shape, made the face more narrow, defined the jaw and chin a bit more, etc. Fixed some mistakes in the body. I still might adjust the eyes. I'm going to try and see if I can play with the nose a bit before I pick something I like.

I think the head looks a little big and the arms look too long because his torso is upright. If you try doing the pose yourself, for knuckles to touch the ground like that you end up leaning over. I'm not a pro at shota anatomy so forgive me for inadvertently aging him up but here's a messy pose edit. I think the easiest thing to do would just be giving him something to lean on though.

Definitely gmi with that attitude. The best advice I can give you right now is really tackle line weight, it's more important than you would think. This may even be a good time for you to experiment with different brushes and see what works best with your style.

A lot of practice just forcing yourself to do it, paying attention to where other artists change line weight, don’t use any kind of brush with opacity.
I went from strictly doing sketchy/opacity line work to more clean line work. Still not perfect but it’s a lot cleaner than what my comfort zone was before. Definitely took a while and your work might look really weird for a while but have to just push through.

I think most of the heavy lifting is done by the bristle brush. I use Paint Tool Sai 2 and it's a very comfy brush to use, especially for hair strands.

I think you should, especially if you have small tablet change the pressure to anywhere in the red box (picrelated) it will save your wrist when you make it. You can change later but imo when you grind fundies better keep it low.

Mypaint and infinite painter. Any program with a jitter brush setting will do, just raise the hue and saturation a little bit. I used a pixel brush, but i think it will work similarly with other brushes.

Thanks! He's more on the classic side with a lot of divergencies, vamps in the story work more similar to zombies, they have extra healing abilities based around uv radiation. They also have venomous fangs that paralyze victims. Other than that no powers, if anything they're weaker than humans.

but I can tell you though, most of the soft shading like in the face or hair it's literally just hard round brush to block out the shadows and highlights, and blending them with a soft round brush.
make sure not to blend all of it or it will be muddy. in the picture it's areas like under the neck where it's sharp cast shadow, or areas of contrast like between the helix and antihelix/scaphoid fossa of the ear
