In one of Will Weston's courses he shows what he calls the "Brother Bear Style Guide" and says you can easily google it to find it.
I couldn't find it.
So I screencapped it from the video and made it into a pdf. The quality is a bit blurry but it's still serviceable.

If any one knows where to find it online then please share it. Hans Bacher shared a lot of the Disney production material for films he worked on like Mulan but I couldn't find this online.

Anyway it's pretty interesting for anyone into background painting or landscapes.

The book came in today, i just made some test scans.
Which one do you prefer?
Middle image is from the amazon preview images, left is without seethrough removal which can sometimes lead to some text showing through slightly, right is with seethrough removal but makes every background white. Which usually works for most books but this one has slightly colored pages.

I tried around with the scanner calibration a bit. Middle is digital preview again, left without, right with seethrough removal.
Getting the background color right is almost impossible.
But the artwork colors should be fine now.

Yeah I really like his concepts for breaking down layering, prop design, composition and the figure. But man the lack of more finished demos is really annoying.
His digital painting course doesn't even have a single painting demo beyond the 10 minute sketch phase. I have no idea how the students of that class learned to paint from it.

That is a really broad question, and the short answer is "depends." FreePDFMagazine is a good starting point for new stuff, Internet Archive for old.

For something like older Japanese fashion magazines, LiveJournal was the place. It's kind of dead these days, but a lot of the links still work. After LJ, it was tumblr but good luck searching for anything there. Modern stuff is considerably easier to find because a lot of fashion magazines have digital versions, so you basically can get your scans the day of. Literally just look up "[magazine name] ebook" or "[magazine name] pdf". If you don't give a shit about the editorial stuff and just want the clothes, Vogue has both a runway website and app that focuses on (as you'd guess) the runway photos. Insert your favorite torrent site here probably also gets these same PDFs uploaded as soon as they're out. One last thing is a lot of new Japanese magazines are available on Amazon JP's Kindle Unlimited plan if you have that already, so that is another option. Also you may get free digital checkouts with your local library depending on what their digital checkout plan looks like, so check that out, too.
