i think this might be the image used as "inspiration". it looks like he got the basic composition and pose from it then changed the fov and pose a bit. it's not tracing and this pose is pretty common but i wouldn't be surprised if it's heavily inspired by it. that anatomy is pretty boring overall with the smooth curves, face looks fucked up, and everything elbow height up looks messed up in context with the rest of the picture. the bottom of the face in the csr pic is covered by the shoulder, his face looks lmao.

Mostly how he render, basically it's the base color, 2-3 layers for the shadow, 1-2 for light and highlights and then another for painting on top of everything. I never really touch his background layers, I'm not prepared to learn background yet
