Ok, been there done that. I know what it's like when your mental health gets in the way. You will improve if you calm down. Get one thing and study it. Do a long study then break it down and try to see what you can recall from memory. There is one thing you can do, another thing you can do do after that is try to put it into simplified shapes and rotate it in your mind and draw it from different angles.

Another thing you can do is think what kind of artwork do you actually want to make? Pick your 3 favourite artists and do masters copies of their artwork. Find your art parents, you'll probably be adding more as you go along in your art journey. Which is a good thing.

I know it's really tough and difficult and you skills might not be up there yet but make sure that you actually draw what you want and look up references for what you want. I know you want to be able to draw without references,but the thing is in order to draw without references you need to use references. Even Kim Jung GI use references. Up your mileage and build that visual library. As it's something that you actually want to draw it will be easier to gain mileage. If it's what you wanted you're more likely to draw it, again. If you think you're bad now just remember that you can always redraw it.

If you want you could try making a sketchbook thread on an ART forum like cubebrush or crimson daggers. They help with advice and motivation.

Your drawings have a lot of fear of repercussions in them. Nothing horrible is going to happen if you make a mistake, you waste some paper of lead both of which are inexpensive. I recommend getting charcoal too if just to play with line variation/weight and contrast. Like in your first image, it’s not clear because the darkest values are still too light to be considered dark.

Basically study is where you copy and analyse artwork from your favourite artists. If called 'master copies/studies because people used to do that back in the day where they used to literally just copy and and tried to replicate people's techniques. It's way to try to get into the artist head trying to follow that lines and the strokes. Of course a lot of people now aren't just interested in older artists but more contemporary ones as well. So just pick a couple of your favorites and do some studies of them.
I like to map out the composition and then going to detail and then I'll just focus on a particular element that I like. It could be for example the way the clothes are folded on a jacket or the way a certain artists draws eyes. Then try drawing loads of those.

Well, in terms of the position of the eyes the first one is more accurate and I'm seeing you are starting to block out the shapes. You just need to work on the placement for facial features. Just isolate and try to analyse what you gonna work on and just work on it. I think learning construction of the head to help you a lot. It *does* work. Get the loomis book or if videos and more your thing watch the Proko course on it.

Then come back to it and take your time. I feel like you're so concerned about getting good that you're not being mindful. Try to be in the moment when you are drawing.

Keep practicing and try to enjoy the process, rather than be myopically focused on the goal. I know you desperately want to draw from imagination, but it's going to take time. You've got to be prepared to deal with that, but the important thing to know is it's not impossible.

You will progress more clearly that way like artists that would draw in their childhood. They may look back at they art and cringe, but at the time they loved it. Like Artgerm says 'you need to love your art'. I know it's difficult but start trying to plan out ideas that you actually want to draw, study the references and then come back to it. It's when I actually tried to apply that to my own work, that's when it started to pay off.

All you need to do is relax and stay on the bus. Don't get angry if you can't do things straight away take a breather then come back to it. What you don't see in that image is the amount of hours it took them to get to that style and see that level of skill. You need to learn to be kind to yourself.
