I think the colours are fine. Skin and hair contrast nicely and the more muted tones of her clothing doesn't take away from the aforementioned hair.

Gorgon character/race I've been developing in my head for a while. Trying to do a different take than the usual Medusa shit. Visually it's a hybrid between the gorgons in MtG and the Asari from Mass Effect. Basically she's born on one of the 12 mother ships that left her home planet before it was completely consumed by nuclear warfare.
Her race continues to live on these ships in search of a safer place until it's discovered that there are no habitable planets nearby.

Interesting ideas, could use some polish.
First guy: Integrate the barbs with the body. If it's hair, make it more obvious (look at Jiraya or what have you). Something on the wrists or chest, or even something complementing the sash could also add variety. This is personal taste, but I don't like his muzzle.
Second guy: add one or two small red marks on the mask, PROFIT.
Third guy: weakest of the three, but it's hard to change anything without changing his essence. Maybe give him a staff/rifle, make the backpack bigger, use the baggy clothes to make more distinctive shapes. Desert Punk might be a good reference.

The irony is the "OC" mentality actually makes you a worse designer. Without context the only way to make a character standout is to over design them. There's no room for subtly when all there will be is a model sheet and a bio. Characters like Carl from athf, Hank Hill or Yoda could never take off in an environment like that because they're supposed to appear mundane. So that leaves us with 90% of OCs being fetish bait and the remaining 10% being blatant ripoffs.

I have these characters that are monster girls, but they are an idol group/band. I only have the singer which is a ripped red oni girl who loves cute stuff and hides the fact that she loves singing because she has an image of being a leader of a female gang to keep. The bass player is some cold bob cut cyclops girl who's into pastel goth stuff. I originally wanted to do a lil baby slime girl to be the drummer, but then i saw that an artist named rubberross made one and mine looked too similar to it, so i scrapped her out. I still need to come up with the other members and their manager, but the rival group would have a blue oni and a kuchisake onna and other monster girls.

This is good too. Head is great. I would take out the normal character back view tho. I get its a turnaround but if youre just trying to promote this image, it really looks awkward and takes away from the rest of the page. Both hand placements are very awkward and it amplifies her stiffness in the other drawings. Id rather see a front shot of her in the moth wings or a completely diff pose all together.
