So... This was done during the lockdown in March. After that period, I decided to gift myself a graphic tablet since I discovered that drawing can save my soul in this tough times.

I feel a lot of improvements for my standards. But that's because my standards are very low (absolute ngmi tier), and for years I have always focused mostly on my studies and life and drawn only a couple of times per month.

However, now that the world is burning and we have to stay distant most of the time, drawing is keeping me sane and when we are in severe lockdown periods, I just spend hours and hours on drawing after I finish my teleworking.

I drew these sketches on the right yesterday and the Midna on the 4th of dec, most recent "finished" work.
I like the progress Im making but I know the learning curve increases the fastest when your starting out, but I dont think Im plateauing yet luckily

More than last year, because I actually started drawing instead of trying to find the best way to learn by lurking /ic/ and watching how to draw videos.
Even though I'm sure someone less lazy would have improved a lot more in the 4 months I've been giving it a go. I think the thing I'm currently most proud of, is finally making art somewhat of a habit and drawing 6-7 days a week even if just for an hour. I hope I can keep this up throughout the holidays.

I can't compare finished works because I don't have one from December yet, but these two are at the same stage with one year difference.

Honestly the improvement isn't quite as much as I expected visually, but the thing that I am happy about is that 2019 probably took me a solid 4-5 hours and 2020 took me a bit over an hour.
