I used to be able to paint clouds well, with depth and everything, but progressively that ability has gone away and now when I draw clouds I make scribbles that just look like formless garbage. How can i reteach myself?

I couldnt for the life of me draw clouds, because i thought of them as fog and that confused me, one time I was painting a still life and had a cotton plant in there too, I drew the cotton and it looked like clouds, now I just think of clouds like cotton, it helps

draw the value and hue and chrome and stuff like that,if you are painting, if you re simply drawing focus on the value, its really important, take a look into the carder method, really good stuff on colour, good luck!
