My Intuos M's pen died after 1 year. My Wacom Bamboo had issues with the ports and they'd always come loose. Wacom is shit.

Same here, I bought my intuos3 large in 2008 and it's still working fine, only replaced the nibs twice, only once it was actually necessary. It's seen a LOT of use over the years and I moved houses with it a shitfuck lot of times.

I had a Huion pen display that I thought was fucking up constantly, but turns out that it was my macbook pro that caused the problems. It only has USB-C ports so I have to have like 3-4 different hubs to get my pen display to connect properly and apparently that causes a lot of digital fuckery. The moment I bought new cables that plugged directly into my computer was the day I stopped having problems. Huion is awesome.

Nobody knows. Every review on the internet is paid for by the tablet manufacturers, people who use the cheap shit are too poor to buy Wacom and people who use Wacom don't want to experiment with cheaper brands. I will say, praise for Huion from people who previously owned Wacom tablets is suspiciously absent from almost all of these discussions.
