Hi guys.. there are scenarios i'd like to turn into this particular apu "art". I've noticed that the good ones all follow the same rule and when people attempt to imitate them, they end up being shit. it is as though all the good ones were drawn by the same person. How are these drawn and what makes them unique?

MSPaint (or any art program really, all you need is a small canvas and no anti-aliasing) , draw with 1px line with your mouse, bucket fill.

You take the original one as a base and then draw your version on top of it so you don't lose the spirit of the OG. If you try to make it from scratch, little things will be off and it wont look right.
