This is a thread to discuss all kinds of digital drawing hardware: non-display graphics tablets, pen display tablets, portable tablets and more.

>What should I buy?
State your:
>Budget
>Location
>Type (display? non-display? portable?)
>Size (in inches)
>Other information
>Previous equipment
>If you have any, state your preferences regarding surface texture (paper emulation, smooth etc)

Anons with corresponding tablets can provide input as to the user experience of those tablets.

Recommended display tablets:

Wacom cintiq 27 QHD for professional investment, doesnt come with stand so you need to buy an arm
>XP Pen artist 15.6 pro for price/performance value
>Huion Kamvas 22 plus for excellent contrast ratio and vivid colours

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite for a budget portable tablet.

Screenless tablets:

>XP-Pen Deco Pro Medium
>Huion Inspiroy H1161
>Wacom Intuos Pro 2013 line

Tech and standards for screenless tablets have plateaued over the last 2 years, so there is little real variation between same dimension products other than surface texture. If going screenless, steer clear of the Intuos Pro line unless you hate your money. Only the 2013 and older variants wont burn your nibs to shreds.

Medium sized tablets are the usual standard, however for the most comfort and natural feeling, its best to have a tablet thats close to your monitors size. That way, your line length will correspond correctly, 5cm on tablet will be 5cm on screen etc

Worst thing about this is, the Pro Pen 2 nibs are a custom cut. So even if you try to make them yourself, they will end up uneven and wobbly. Old Wacom nibs are literally 1.75mm plastic filament cutouts.

I tried the gaomon m10k, the tablet felt nice but the pen felt like shit. Too thin, too light.
