im sure someone has already said this, but ill say it as well, just in case. "making it" is the point that one can sustain themselves from making their art alone. would obviously want to "make it" so that they can have fun doing what they love all the time, rather than scrounging around for pocket change amounts of extra time to draw after working some lame ass job they probably dont like even 1/4 as much as drawing. to top it off, they would also likely be exhausted and would be carrying the burden of a full day of work while they try to put in maybe 2 hours of drawing a night
