Normal friends are generally nice about your art and if they aren’t it’s easy to know what advice is worth taking and what advice is because they don’t have a clue what they’re talking about. Art friends on the other hand are a mixed bag of emotional people with mental problems, from highly sensitive empathetic people who want to help you to complete schizos and crabs who see you as competition.they know what to say to actually hinder your progress and make it sound right. Facts are, everyone hates to see you succeed except people who get paid when you do. This is the ultimate truth.
