It works flawlessly. If you're not /beg/ like me and have worked with CSP before, you will master it fine. This app is the best because you know the developer really optimized it for samsung tablet. So far it doesn't feel laggy at all, but then again what I've been doing is sketching and studying anatomy from braphogs...

You could watch Brad Cowboy's video on it, he also uses S6 lite. The screen looks small in that video but actually I don't feel it's cramped at all, maybe because I have smol hands.

Maybe if you have a lot of layers, fully rendered vector images it could be a bit laggy like in this video:

But then again it really does its job really well. For its price, you already got a tablet with solid build quality, above average specs, FREE csp ex for 6 months, and good pen + screen display. Every bit of your money will be well spent.

Anyone have a cintiq 24 pro with touch? I want to use Adobe Fresco on a large screen tablet. Does the touch actually work? I've read some mixed opinions on the touch, mostly that palm rejection sucks ass

The main advantage of display tablets, imo, is that they come in larger sizes and allow you to use more of your shoulder and elbow. Plus they're compatible with arm mounts, which let you put them in more comfortable positions. But generally speaking no, once you get used to a regular tablet they're just as good. It's mostly an ergonomics thing IF you invest in getting a large display tablet and setup. Plenty of pros use intuos pros and some people have no problem using an ipad with a tiny screen

I use Krita it's more comfortable than PS and more powerful than CSP, it's my golden middle.
There's also SAI - it's the most bare-bones program but the one and a half features it has are pretty polished.

For Display Tablets, the best two options are a Samsung Galaxy S7+ and an iPad Pro (2nd gen best value). If you're on a budget, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is a great option. Both of them can function as a display tablet with the right app.

Cintiq 16 + 22 are ok. They have a bit more parallax and a limited color palette, but at least you're getting a high quality pen, which is the most important part of buying a drawing tablet. I'd go for the 22 because it includes the stand, and 16" isn't big enough to justify purchasing over a Galaxy or an iPad at 12.9".

If you can get a good used deal, something like a Cintiq 22HD is also a great option, and still industry standard. Most studios still use these old tablets because they're historically reliable.

Pen quality. The Apple Pencil is better than the S-Pen, but they're both still good. The S-Pen has a rubber tip, which offers more resistance for drawing on glass for the textured feeling, but you can get that on the iPad with a matte screen protector.
Software. The iPad wins here with Procreate and ArtStudio Pro, but Android is a lot better than it used to be. Android has Krita if you like that.

First of all bamboo woble even more, intuos are made to a higher standard but in the same exact way.
And secondly you're you're not drawing with a nib, you're drawing with the magnetic coil inside.

The nib on my old Huion h610p wobbled so much I could feel it and it felt really jank, but it didn't actually affect the performance I learned to draw from zero to commissions on it. Can't complain.
