From what I remember at my middle school it was as easy as going to some sites and downloading the executable. When the IT guy blocked the site kids just found new sites to get the games. I was too broke to buy USB sticks.

When it became difficult then people brought in their own sticks, but most kids didn't have that luxury/stopped caring at that point since enough games were on the PCs anyway. My high school felt like there was no IT at all...so it was too easy to install stuff.

For anyone on the Design a Vtuber challenge I recommend looking at the hololive wiki, they have tabs at the character portraits where you can see some of their different outfits

Most vtubers have at least 2 outfits, which sometimes change their look and colours completely (see Uruha Rushia going from short hair, green and blues to pink haired goth) plus seasonal or special event costumes too

You can also just search "hololive new outfit" on youtube. Whenever a new one is revealed they'll zoom in and go through the details on stream, and sometimes have the character designers input on why things are the way they are. Nijisanji is another vtuber company but I don't know if they change costumes as much.

Thank you very much for your nice comments, dads. And thank you for your critique. I'm sorry for not posting as often. Studying has got me busy as to do daily work. But I've been thinking that I should share more of the process perhaps, I'm not really the best at speed so sometimes I don't really post some things because I don't want to bother people with something that challenges you to pay attention to see the differences rather than a very clear cut amount of progress.
But that said, you guys made me stop for a moment and check out my gallery. I do agree that I post way too many snapshots of ideas without posting much of a conclusion to them. Particularly I started with that when I stopped focusing on painting. Thankfully I've gotten some revelations and I'm trying to actually do a couple of things that I want to post as samples of finished work. While I've leaned (rather unintentionally) on the "not a gallery" aspect of the site a lot, your comments and checking my gallery from that perspective made me see a couple of things. Thank you again.

you can see that the canvas used is substantially, and i mean substantially larger, the lines converge waaaaaaaaaay away from the object, which is technically correct but tedious as hell to do
if i had to guess, a lot of time was probably spent trying to set up the initial perspective grid based on things like the station point and cone of vision. there seem to be a lot of shadows of erased lines so they probably redrew it several times

I will. No worries. And it's fine, I wouldn't bother to put a lot of work into a drawing unless I considered it important. A bunch of stuff I do sometimes is more exploratory than anything else. But that said, I do think it'd be nice to upload some more finished things. I'm actually kinda using the weekly frequency to focus more on dad. Remember the car drawing?
