While this is correct regarding social media fame, women have lesser abilities to be great artists and make meaningful work. As time goes, their art will be forgotten as they're only valuable because of their young fertile body, while yours will be remembered if you have something say through it.
Though I'd recommend to keep art as a hobby or part-time thing, as you will struggle to make a living of it.
