This is the only software that can simulate the fluid dynamics of paint. Why aren't more people using it?

Complex fluid simulation requires beefy computers.
As well as that interface looks unreadable, and it's also probably missing some crucial features compared to usual painting software.

This actually looks promising.
Although i'd give it more times. maybe in 5 more years this will be more polished user friendly.

Looks like gimmicky shit, just use real paint if you want paint

Paint and canvas are expensive, and take up space.

While it's much better than Corel Painter and photoshop in mixing colors and impasto, the UI and the Canvas size limit makes it impossible to use professionally if DPI matters.

The engine is fantastic. Try it. There's a forum where users post their artworks made in this program and they look realistic.

Brilliant program, Taron deserves a nobel prize and being published in every single computer graphics research.
Super heavy on cpu, but it's such a crazy time saver and gives you so much control over the art that it's borderline science fiction.
I, however, have stopped using it a while back.
I realized that my understanding is still lacking of many subject matters. I decided to humble myself and learn how to work with streamline tools before anything else.

Verve is really good, especially when you want to experiment with oil paint quickly without the guilt of ruining a good canvas because the drawing turned out like shit.

It's worth noting that this video is 3 years old. I've never used verve but I think I'm gonna give it a shot.
