This is stealing anatomy and pose, not composition. Stealing compositions is fine, and often waay more subtle. I've copied the the perspective grids from some ian mcque pieces, but the final result couldn't look more different. Composition is way more abstract, so its ok in my book.

Poses can not be copyrighted or intellectually protected

It's another matter is one person was doing works who resemble another individual persons's works.

Plagiarism is more of a generalizing legal term than something you can just throw around because some artists do the same work as you but you happen to upload it first.

After Rob Liefield left Marvel, he wanted to revive Fighting American. Since he left before his Captain America series came to an end, he had the genius idea to reuse his drawings by altering them a bit, like the talent-less hack he is. Marvel, of course, sued him.

Compare the design of Fighting American from one of the original issues back in the day (like pic related) to the one of Liefeld's (the one that I posted earlier).

Name 1 reason as to why referencing without crediting someone shouldn't be allowed. If it doesn't look like a direct copy and it sells, it sells. This is capitalism, if spacezin is losing out to beg-tier competition, he is fucking retard.

There are only so many ways you can draw a person - if you get hung up about drawing someone in a similar pose to someone else, you'll never draw again.
