Question about vilppu, does anyone know what polychromo he actually uses? I'm pretty sure in NMA stuff he said he's using sanguine, but i bought one because I like the tones he makes with them. However, the polychromo sanguine doesn't seem to be able to get as dark as he makes some of his lines. Anyone know if he's using burnt umber or something? He definitely uses polychromos, because of the gold band.

There are more Portrait vids on Proko's youtube than in the course because Proko shot those at a much later date and couldn't be fucked to add them to the course.

I don't think that's really true though, seeing how asian (jap, kor, chi) artists are so much more in both quantity and quality than westerners.

There's like less than 10 good anime illustrators that are not asians, so clearly there's something they teach there that isn't being taught here or at the very least the way they practice is different than mere "fundies".

Don't buy brush packs. I got both Frenden's and Daub's packs but I never use them. Download some free brushes, try them and see what you like, and them modify them and make your own brushes based off them.
