Im trying to learn loomis, but all my drawings have shit perspective.
Whats the most effective way to learn it?
Im currently going trough marshall's course and although I can understand the theory I feel that I need some good excersices.
What are the most effective excersices when it comes to perspective, is it just drawing boxes?
All I want its to make coom art but I feel that I can't advance on figure/portrait drawings until atleast I figure out perspective.

drawing parallel and perpendicular
most of it is just muscle memory of seeing a line already in perspective, the experienced dont even have to think about it.

Learn other things first like drawing people and plants because you can use 3d models to cheat perspective.

Perspective made easy is a really good starter imo just use that and use draw a box as a reminder whenever you need to revist perspective

You still need to learn the basics of perspects in order to extrapolate from the 3d you create but it's so much fucking easier than having to draw a billion boxes and measure them.

>What's the most effective way to learn it?
Framed Perspective
How to Draw is also good, but less clear.
>What's a shitty way to learn it?
Drawabox and meme ancient tomb shit like Perspective Made Easy.
Both are less clear and less in-depth than Framed Perspective. These were memes for people too stupid to understand How to Draw before Framed Perspective made it easy to understand.
>What are the most effective excersices when it comes to perspective, is it just drawing boxes?
Every time you learn something new from a book, make a few drawings that apply that concept. This is what "just draw" advice is trying to tell you to do.
