I can't follow along too well drawing-wise because my skills aren't up to snuff but he explains everything pretty straightforward and doesn't skimp on details from what I can tell. He clearly knows what he's doing and it shows when he gives explanations
I'm doing his anatomy course right now and overall it seems useful. He's building the human form on top of the skeleton, doing muscles, etc. There's videos for separate parts of the body like head, hands, torso, feet, so it's easy to focus on one thing or another. All videos are around half an hour except gesture, hands, feet, and torso which are about an hour each

finally got around to the bill perkins color boot camp, would not recommend it. his demos are really bad and he hardly teaches anything. you can get more knowledge from reading/doing the exercises in a book like david hornung color and watching almost anyone else paint for free on youtube. marco bucci, alex tzavaras, james gurney, draw mix paint are immeasurably better demonstrations.

You do the figure drawing course first where he tells you about all the landmarks of the body and gives examples of how to draw simplified versions of the forms with you relying on pics to get details.
Once you get to the anatomy course he does a deep dive so by the time you are done you should be able draw the forms and the small details without a pic.

If you can do realistic stuff there’s no reason you can’t do cartoony stuff. Just go back to focusing on form instead of values, add new unrealistic rules to your proportions etc. You can do basically whatever you want but it has to be consistent. Try to make it something more creative than “all the characters have huge tits counterbalanced by huge asses”

I've mostly watched the 插画班, which is anime art (without background).

They have this 5-6 week structure.
Week 1: Head
Week 2: Body/Anatomy
Week 3: Colour
Week 4: Whatever/background
Week 5: Random bullshit

Pretty decent anatomy section, they don't bullshit around and drag it out forever like Proko. But once you've watched it once you don't need to watch it again.

Brent and Gesture. Hampton requires and understanding of perspective and some anatomy.

I would start Brent and Gesture then Brent and Figure Drawing. Then Proko Figure Drawing.

Then finally Hampton because by then you’ll know the important bony landmarks of the body.

In the mean time to the website Memrise and do the Introduction to Artistic Anatomy. It’s a flash card game that will help you learn all the anatomical parts in a few weeks to a couple months. That will help you tremendously in all the courses where they casually drop anatomy and anatomy terms. Good luck
