Curious to hear some new suggestions. I like listening to documentaries, easy listening videos on not-too-intense subjects that don’t require 100% concentration like philosophy or life, or albums, though I like listening to people talk.

Been searching for podcasts but I’ve found that most voices are quite boring or the content itself isn’t as interesting as those found in videos.

I get why ASMR is relaxing but isn’t it strange to listen to continuously? I mean, it’s akin to not listening to anything for me; there aren’t any beats, music, talking but just, whitenoise

For me it's a little more than white noise since I do actually feel tingling and I like how the soundwaves feel hitting my eardrum but I do understand your point, eventually I don't really hear anything but it's a lot better than traffic or random conversations for me, especially since I have earplugs on my earbuds. And ignore the resident schizo. If it's music then I agree with the other anon above that said citypop.

Podcasts are my go-to. Sleepycast might be my favourite, but I've long since heard all of their episodes, so I've had to rewatch them a few times. Welcome to Night Vale is fantastic if you're looking for something with a story. If I'm not in the mood for any podcasts, I'll just listen to a game OST.

I've been looking for more podcasts to listen to, and had The Official Podcast recommended to me because it was similar to Sleepycast, but I couldn't get into it. It wasn't bad, but the Official boys don't have the same synergy as the Sleepycast boys.

Ah that makes sense, a nicer form of white noise, pretty cool. Agreed with city pop as well, but I've spent the last 3 years listening to 90% city pop and I'm sadly "immune" to it now

>>4725386
Ironically I listen to Tekken's soundtrack as well, but for running, specially this track: https://youtu.be/7s60QcKHjK8

>>4727509
Truth, I also prefer calm music as well. Fast paced music makes me rush my thoughts, which rushes my drawing and makes the process less satisfying. Love classics like Gymnopedie as well, comfy af

>>4727516
>>4727652
Yep, search for unintentional ASMR or stick with ASMRs that don't produce such content, normally adults aged 25 and above produce pretty good content. I like Youtubers like WhispersRed, Hatomugi, Zeitgeist, YAAMCHA etc. The thumbnail should tell you everything to expect desu, as well as the raunchy titles
>>4727658
lawl for the multitasking, it's a special case for me. Normally when I'm coding or reading something I cannot listen to anything (processing the two info streams in one brain messes things up) but for drawing, it's just drawing, making several mental notes and listening isn't too big a problem

>>4727952
>>4727954
>>4728020
Well, when I'm studying something technical like perspective or anatomy, no music either. However, more chill stuff like painting goes well with music imo

>but for drawing, it's just drawing, making several mental notes and listening isn't too big a problem
That's just because you have a harder time quantifying information when it comes to drawing and learning.
Music is fine (and can even help) if you're just repeating what you already know on paper, but for learning it's still a hindrance.
