Liking it so far. Before Brent Eviston, I started off grinding a lot of Bridgman, anatomy, and gesture drawings, so never really learned the basics. This helps bridge the gap for me. I am taking the assignments seriously and do at least the minimum amount even for lessons I don't particularly care for. First week started off with basic shapes and 2nd goes into line emotions. Video instruction are about 7-15 minutes so far. So on a good day, I'd try to do 2-3 lessons and all the assignments to speed up the process.

has anyone gone through the watts figure course or watts master class? if so how does it compare to nma stuff or even proko? are there assignments/reference? im currently going through a painting course by watts and there seems to be way less hand-holding and a greater skill requirement/expectation for it

The website even has this 1 minute cool down between downloads, add another minute to that as you have to wait a minute for the link to generate. 100 videos stretched over 8 weeks and you had to wait two minutes between each download. Most of the videos posted here seem to be focusing on analog art. Not that this would be wrong or a huge problem, especially not for the base concepts. But do you guys think I will be fine if I follow along with anything and try to reproduce it in Krita? In the end I don't want to spend the money to buy all kinds of colors and tools. I have a nice mechanical pencil and that is about as far as I'm willing to go.

Is there no complete professional course that teaches drawing from scratch in a digital tool, preferable Krita or clip studio? I just think it would be more efficient to really focus on the tools your are going to use in the end.

Vilppu vs Proko anatomy and why?

On first glance Proko seems easier to follow, because he has 3d models of stuff. Vilppu might be the true anatomy master, but it's quite hard to follow these concepts, if you only see his sloppy sketches of things. What am I missing?
