I didn’t see it as coddling, I just do the same thing. I do everything on one layer and just draw the guidelines very lightly so it doesn’t get too messy and confusing. I just don’t understand the purpose of the feedback. From the anon’s post, it sounds like it was just annoying them but I didn’t see how that was important since it’s not a final piece. I thought the entire submission was the sketch layer. Maze hadn’t done the lineart yet. It does take a second to turn off the sketch layer, which is why erasing those lines doesn’t really matter since, as Maze mentioned, that layer won’t be there in the final result. To me anon’s feedback seemed a bit pointless, it wasn’t like they were criticizing something that was something that incorrectly, but were telling Maze to erase something that’s not going to be there in the final piece. Just seemed pointless to do that to appease some anon unless erasing it serves another purpose I’m not aware of.

-Try some of other stuff that appeals to her.
As she is going for stylized she could try to explore more so that her style can evolve.
