At the end of the year you make one big picture and you list everything you learned this year that you didn't know last year. break complex things down into very simple 3d shapes (cube, cylinder, pyramid, sphere). This requires a little imagination because those simple forms aren't actually real. Then slowly add extra shapes on to of those you started with, or carve out areas like a sculpture.

When you start to get confident, you gradually draw more complex shapes without having to go step by step, but it's really important not to rush. If you ever get lost or frustrated, go back a step and simplify things.

Do you want to create worlds in which others can immerse themselves in? Or is your desire more primal, a need to express sexual needs, vent your agonies or achieve soulful catharsis through craft?
Find out if you have any love for this, find out why you have a love for this, then don't lose sight of your love of it. Then, just keep doing it. Take breaks if you're exhausted, or can't be sincere about your efforts, but always return to it because of why you love it. The "making it" will come naturally, and even if it doesn't, your respite will be knowing you spent a life validating not your ambition, but your passion, following it to wherever it lead you. They're both true. The psyche is full of contradictions. Good artists largely become friends with each other because there is little to nothing to be gained from a relationship with a lesser artist. You can ask a better artist for help and crits but that takes time out of their own endeavors, they don't benefit much from it overall (any nonzero benefit that they do see is besides my point). I don't know, I just want to be good and validated.

That brings up an interesting point because to be friends with a good artist implies you'd have to become good on your own without any help from others which is debatable. Secondly, plenty of good artists have non artist friends. I think if I wanted to be friends with a good artist I'd try to charm them with being a good friend rather than a good artist.

I used to think this about myself honestly.
Then I got a bit older and you realize you have good qualities. Due to the repeated bout effect should keep drawing everyday. Just take a look at your dosage and rate of perceived exertion . And keep adjusting until you find a comfy spot.
For pain relief in the meanwhile you can do isometrics and /or make use of many of modalities that work via placebo and/or only have short term effects like icing , nsaids(if you have actual inflammation) and massaging ( but keep in mind this things are jsut for perceived pain relief , they wont do anything to heal you or "fix the problem".
Second thing is to keep a good attitude . If you catastrophize your situation you will have worse perceived pain scores.


But yeah tl;dr just work on your dosage and there are no magic cures
