Leaving a drawing unfinished for style reasons is better than polishing a turd, change my mind

Why would I try to change your mind if you're right?

Completing a peice lets you post it up, and more impprtantly tests you on every foundation
Abandong a peice leaves you only gringing some fundies at best and stuck on your confort zone

Your drawings will always be turds until you can take it to a finish- without making it look like a turd.

You don't have to slap color and full linework on a piece to finish it and have it stand on its own merits. "Unfinished by choice" is a way of finishing a drawing in its own right, and it still takes skill.

This anon is right.

Even the way OP states his question is assuming that working more on a piece will make it into a polished turd. That's doom thinking. You'll never improve that way.

That's just another way of drawing the hands behind the back because you can't draw them correctly.
Come back when you stop being 14

polished turd is a definition of soul. With a remark that you are not trying to replicate someone more successful to get followers(sakimichan copycats), but genuinely enjoy drawing.

rule of thumb is get out of your comfort zone. finish the drawing even if it looks like shit. for /beg/s your finished drawing will always be shittier than the sketch but after you learn how to polish your art right it will get better
