>inb just use Vilppu/Loomis/Hampton

People usually hate it, since the artwork isn't that great BUT I honestly think it's decent for showing HOW to learn to draw the figure (as in, it goes through every bone, body part and muscle in detail literally spoonfeeding you every angle).

Use the learning methods but use different references.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=78XcvgI-5Qw&list=PLkAIDzicB8D2aGc2hqHXaOlYz9LuP7EAu&index=124

As you can see, the drawings aren't great BUT I mean.. Who else has 243 parts for literally EVERY angle of every bone and muscle?

Get "Vilppu Studio". Start with Gesture. Spend 1 week on each lecture. Do 2-4 hours of figure drawing on quickposes.com every single day. This is my exact schedule since Coronavirus quarantine started

First, warm up with ten 3 min poses every single day, then do the following depending on which week you're on:

Time limits: (I made these up myself, play around and change them if you want. Keep practicing previous lessons from time to time.)
- Gesture: 30 sec and 1 min poses
- Spherical Forms: 5 min poses
- Box Forms: 10 min poses
- Combining Spheres and Boxes: 5 min poses
- Cylindrical Forms: 20 min poses
- Basic Procedure: 5 min poses + 1 hour pose
- Anatomy 1: 5 min poses
- Anatomy 2: 20 min poses
- Combining 2D + 3D: 5 min poses for na hour + 2 hour pose
- Indirect Lighting: 5 min poses for an hour + 2 hour pose
- Direct Lighting: 5 min poses for an hour + 2 hour pose
- Atmosphere: 5 min poses for an hour + 2 hour pose

Afterwards, draw whatever the hell you want. I suggest getting out your favorite artists work and copying them for an hour. For me that's Yusuke Murata and Atsushi Nishogori.

As with all of this, the idea is to do as much as possible in the allotted time.

At the very least, get all of the parts placed. In your 5 and 10 minute sketches see if you can get shadows and smaller forms and features placed.

The first two minutes of a 60 minute drawing should look exactly like the end point of a 2 minute drawing, such that you're always practicing the initial stages of finished work. Look at the big picture first, then dial it in and polish.

Per the poses themselves, break it down as needed. If you are intent on learning hands, heads, multi figure interactions, or strong perspective, do short, medium, and long drawings all the same.

Depends on your overalll skill.
If you are just starting on drawing then your best best would be to take a daily course like the art and science of drawing as a first step.
If you had done already some drawing but dont know where to go or you cant think 3d yet , then doing something like draw a box would be invaluable at your current dev stage.
If you already know some perspective and just need a refresher or someone actually explaining some concepts then the marshall vandruff classes.
If you are an intermediate then the cgma class on perspective is very great(but its quite hard so stay off from it until you get better).

I hope that helps.

6 pages, even when taking my time with them, doesn't seem like it would warrant an entire week (even if you did 1 page per day for an hour or 2 of straight focus)
