There's inspiration (and more) to be found in both big and smaller games, just like you would with movies.
There's a lot to be found in competitive games too, and this is mostly exclusive to this type of media.
The issue with LoL and similar games is that they're played as a purely as a way to pass time or interact with certain people. Best to get into games trying to get as much out of them and not as just snack media.

The lines-only version looked alright, definitely good enough for furaffinity standards. The coloring doesn't do it any good but you don't get good at coloring without doing any coloring.

Maybe polish up the lines-only version by finishing the rest of the panels and by adding some contrast between the foreground and background (either line thickness or make the background greyer). Then you could put it on FA or some site like that and you could start getting some presence there. Considering how popular that one seagull comic got you shouldn't worry too much about your art not being top notch.

If you can't draw that well you can still get a decently sized audience by servicing some niche. Normally niches are fetishes but it can also be specific combinations of species, body type, personality and character dynamic. Although most people are okay with a lot of species, body types and personalities there's usually one they like best, and if you have a profile full of the thing they like best they'll probably stick around even if it's not the highest quality.

I think people liked brogulls for the barabro on nerdtwink incest situation, but I didn't read it myself.

Moreover from comics like One Punch Man you can see that you can get pretty far with a flawed execution.
