Went onto this board feeling the same and I'm glad I saw this thread. How do I get into Loomis? Quarantine has made me try out all kinds of things and I really want to try out drawing instead of trying to learn Japanese. I can't seem to get past the beginning exercises without losing motivation. Am I looking at it wrong? Do I just do each exercises from the beginning, or should I just focus on a single one such as drawing the shapes or doing the face foundations ones?

this, you're stuck in the stage of just drawing on stickers to a very flat face. you're symbol-drawing every feature there and none of it reads very well. literally go do 3x value and shape studies for the eyes, nose and mouth and try that face again you're gonna get unbelievable gains
