Sorry if bits of this are hard to understand. The torso is oddly long and the angles of the body shift uncomfortably- see how the pelvis is rotated to the left? Before sketching, I usually draw two boxes- one for the ribcage, and one for the pelvis. Keeping the two-box thing on a low opacity layer as I'm sketching bodies helps me to keep consistent angles and not be all over the place. I'm not perfect, but i hope this helps. Also- keep doing figure studies and anatomy studies. I know they've helped me a lot, and they will help you too.

Well it still needs a lot of finishing and cleaning up. Your hatching doesn't follow the forms that well - on breasts you should've used curved lines instead of straight ones for example. Not bad otherwise.

The key to using the mirror tool is using it in a way that no one notices you've used the mirror tool. The areas that make it obvious are the knees, breasts, vag and mouth. Lower the opacity, redraw those only on one side and you should be good to go

is right, because you really REALLY need to understand anatomy before you try weird posing, especially with 2 people.

My main issue is that the left arm is too big and no wrist, because I wrist is more than just a part where the arm gets thin for a bit, but a funny bone-y bit. The tacked on boobs are too large considering the size of her torso, and her "abs" should not be facing the viewer, but an angle because she's laying down. Also please look at how vaginas actually look like and where they are on the pelvis. The right arm is horribly shrunken, and the thighs are way too long. Also the outside edge of boobs usually lead into the armpit.

I have attached a redline, but honestly I'm not that good at this kinda angle, but I tried.

Consistently doing finished piece is a good habit to get I believe, even though I'm not that good with colouring and shading. I'm really new to porn so I'm mostly testing out what people like to see, that's why the facial expression may look unconventional.

I am doing 30-40 minutes each day as warm-ups using CroquisCafé and such. Naked, clothed, female, male, muscular, plump. This particular drawing was a simple request for /v/ which didn't really demanded any real anatomy knowledge as opposed to just making breasts that look squeezable. I have some anatomy knowledge (albeit not the best, I'm still quite beg) but as I said, I'm trying to find the right amount of exaggeration in porn that people would still find enjoyable.

Thanks again for taking the time to critique, I'll check out the book you've mentioned and probably stop posting in this thread before I get to the point I metionned that I was aiming for.

Yeah if you don't have a good trip on values, you're gonna have a real hard time with color. Learn to blend, learn when to use hard or soft or lost edges, and get those values mastered. For blending I recommend Ctrl+paint exercises. Even if you don't like the guy just skip to the assignment at the end of the videos on blending/brush control and do them. When you come back to color after mastering value, you're going to have a much easier time.

it sounds like you're taking the right steps to improve then. I agree that it's a good idea to get into certain habits for making a finished piece. However, one of those habits should be using proper anatomy and structure in your drawings, even if its just a delivery for /v/. And I'm not talking about the size of her boobs. You can draw gargantuan tits that still look believable if you know how to portray form and volume. But you need a solid foundation of anatomy to make it look like a real woman.

It's very good that you're open-minded to critique. And like I said, it sounds like you're moving in the right direction. Here's some last tips which you can take or leave as you please.

- Even if the finished picture will only be an upper torso, you should try sketching the whole figure. It will help you to understand where different body parts are in relation to each other and what parts of them will actually be visible.

- If you feel like figure drawing is not really helping much at this point, find a picture from your favorite artist and try to copy it as best you can (not tracing). You'll pick up on some of the tricks that are used in more abstracted styles (e.g. anime) and when you're finished you can compare your art to the original to identify your weaknesses.

Best of luck to you, and always remember that you will improve as long as you keep practicing. But sometimes you need to work smarter instead of harder to grow more quickly.

You don't need to smooth and blend everything to a high degree, but some soft blending and some more pronounced/darker shading at key places would do wonders to your art. yea it seems the general consensus is on the values, so I now at least have a clear and concise thing to practice now. This is why seeking critique is so important for artists. We are blinded by certain things in our own work, so we don't realize the other factors at play. before I posted this I had no urgency to work on my values, but after hearing some crit I now know that its just going to propel me even further if I give it the study it deserves.

Hi BBC, your works always amazing. If I could give any crit, and take this with a grain of salt since I‘m no where near your level, is that the fox girls lower torso is reading just slightly flat. I guess because her lower half is almost a profile view while her upper half and the whole 2nd girl have this really nice perspective to them. The piece is absolutely lovely though so I don’t think it takes away from it at all, it’s just something I’m kind of seeing.
I think the foot was stylistically big in the under drawing but more accurate in the final piece, it honestly could work either way and the result would still be amazing.

How long have you been drawing and posting your work?
Did you get any formal training?
Is there a sort of “flowchart” you recommend to study. Like what did you put your most time into studying? Anatomy? Value? Perspective?

I've been drawing professionally for almost 10 years. 5 since I started my online pseudonym.
I always approached art as something that I'll eventually get better and better at and never really studied it. Then once I started drawing porn comics about 8-7 years ago I realized how bad I was at it lol. That's when I picked up a few books (Loomis at first, then Scott Robertson later) and invested more time into studying gesture, anatomy and perspective (with emphasis on the last). Tho the most improvement came from drawing every day. Comics really put me out of my comfort zone and that's what kickstarted my improvement I guess.
I studied industrial design in college, so I had 2 semesters of atelier drawing (environment and figure drawing), but that was pretty much it. All the rest is self teaching.
