For those of you with art jobs - how do you stop yourself from slowly starting to hate drawing?

I finally went pro last year and Im drawing all day in my job. I thought this would be a dream job, and it is kinda..
But ive noticed i have absolutely no motivation to draw after work or on weekends, which is a huge change for me. Im starting to see drawing as work and not something i do for fun like before. Its depressing. I really hate drawing right now. Im even considering quitting my job and going neet mode until i find my love of drawing again

Probably because you suck. When you really have a nice style, you never get enough of drawing.

It is and isnt. Its not the specific job thats the problem its complicated. Im sure its a common problem for people when their hobby becomes their job they lose their passion and enjoyment for it.

A job is an unpleasant thing you do for money. You think plumbers love plumbing?

No, not really. Unless what you’re drawing at work is soul-sucking. In which case, thats the problem. Not drawing per se.
If you quit though, it will get harder, not easier to work professionally again.

When have you ever seen pro-quality artists post on here?

>> No.4581237

>>4581212
You overestimate the quality of working artists. A lot of people are as good or better than pros here

Undoubtedly there are pros who lurk here but don't post their best work, because who wants to be associated with 4chan.
I think there are at least a few known pros who post here, BBC-Chan for example.
