Good, but I can’t go to the local printing place due to quarantine and need an 11x17 scanner. I want to buy one, but I don’t want to risk hundreds of dollars on a piece of shit that may not do what I need.

it's still in my head too but it's not clear, i have the characters/dialogues/theme/ambience but i don't know how to write a scenario not being a writer.
writing is another artistic dicipline and i'm afraid i don't have to patience not the motivation being already """"""grinding"""""" drawing.

biggest hurdle has been actually starting and writing since I feel like I should be grinding drawing instead all the time. Everything is already pretty much solid in my head so I'm just going to do a one shot type thing for now to actually get into it without having to worry about the bigger scope.

Go to a local bookstore and pick up an anthology of short stories. Read a few of them. Pick your favorite, and adapt it. There are far more anthologies out there than you might think, from any genre you want. Pic related is a yearly Sci fi anthology that I personally haven't gone through yet, but plan to in the near future.

Lately I’ve been doing random test pages to get acquainted with the process and to settle into a style. Gonna move on to a couple 3-4 page stories to get in the groove and then try to do some 20-30 page one shots.
