I'm not american you cretin. They're not pros at 6 years old and most get good when they reach a certain amount of hours after repeated practice. Sure, talent exists but STARTING early has never been proof of it, BEING REALLY GOOD SOON AFTER STARTING early is, which is why most who are pros did in fact start early? Why? I'll explain it to your brainlet self: because since they were talented, they did not get demotivated seeing how successful they were, compared to their peers who also started early but eventually stopped since they were demotivated due to poor results.

Every musician playing in large orchestras and every of the great artists in Europe started as a child. Same with chess grandmasters and professional athletes to scientists. Why does this fact trigger you so much?

>> No.4544051

>>4544047
Most pros start early, that's a fact, yes.

Now, let's simplify it for low IQ mouthbreathers like you who don't know how to interpret this fact:

10 000 kids start early
200 are talented
those 200 inevitably go on to become pros
among the 9800 remaining kids who started early, 9000 eventually gave up
thus 800 non-talented became pro also
in total, 1000 became pros among the 10 000

Understand?

>> No.4544070

and people in general start early, forgot to specify that, those 10 000 represent 90% of people who "start" at all, so of course the percentage of pros among those who started later get even smaller when you consider how very few of those who started early even made it

>> No.4544091

>>4544047
>>4544051
>>4544070
and there's also the fact that the overwhelming majority who start later are not willing to put in as much effort into it and literally don't even have as much time as they would've had if they started early, which makes the percentages become very small.

Seriously, which man in his 20s already working a stressful job, having a social life, love life, being invested in a few other hobbies and seeing drawing as just "another hobby", etc. etc. is going to spend minimum 5 hours everyday to make it? lol, 99% give up after less than 3 months, of course there are very few pros to come out of the "started later" group.

You certainly most likely need to be special (social recluse and/or extremely passionate/obsessed) and/or talented to make it after starting later. So don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that "anyone can make it" because that's a lie, something even as basic as your personality could ruin your chances from the start.

How delusional do you have to be that one becomes a pro if you only stick with it and have no talent. You are either extremely overestimating your own skills or live in such a dream world that is completely distracted from the real one.

Just google every fucking great artist and you will notice one pattern: they all start early, are more advanced than their peers and receive additional support from everybody.

Black pill here

Asian genes are objectively real, yes it's possible to get as good as some of the best asian artists, but It will take you twice the amount of time it took them to get there. Take Huang Guangjian He's easily on par with Craig Mullins if not better despite being like half his age (i've seen a picture of him before). They just learn faster and have better "shape language". Also is it even possible for a western Kim Jung Gi to even exist? (that's not asian) I mean Kopinski is pretty close but even he still has to use guidelines. I'll always continue to draw, since I don't want to be the best, But it's very demotivating sometimes, being in the shadow of our Asian gods.

"talent" is not real because what is perceived as talent is the sequencing of what they have and or have been exposed to.

We all have a very unique sequence of genetic variation and the even the slight changing of that genetic sequence can change your ability to produce oxygen to be above the top 80 bracket or in the bottom 20 bracket.

Cognition is in the same branch because cognition is the antithesis of experiencing and creating logical sequencing. This is explained by simple logic we do such as A + B = C, if i can figure out C and B i can figure out A and via versa.

Intelligent movement in the muscles is part of cognition, if you make a choice to move from A to B you doing a cognitive act. Yes their are emotional ones but in humans they are rare.

If you are missing the correct cognitive sequences in your brain you will not be able to master a skill as fast as some one else because your brain cannot put your muscles into the correct places and produce the correct sequence.

Nor am i saying that IQ is a important factor because you may not need a high or low IQ to posses that cognitive sequence in your mind you just need to have that sequence be it many or a singular sequence. IQ just decides how long it takes but that does not make it a requirement

Both IQ and Talent do not matter in terms of drawing. Much like the rest of the arts it is Time over Exposure

Time being how much time you expend on the task for your brain to put the sequence into practice to be able to self teach and pick up on errors that you may have not been aware of.

Exposure being how the person choices to analyse the sequence they need for their art. In other words how your brain naturally breaks down the world they see around them and puts it back together to suit its purpose. Once you are able to understand your own brains logical sequencing of its expose then you can do cross comparison and understand what you should be doing right not what you are doing wrong.

Now time and exposure are a 1:1 ratio of return. If you are not expending time to expose yourself to new information or insight you will not know what to practice upon. As much as if you do not expend time to practice you will never of exposed your errors.

IQ only helps you understand your sequencing and thus direct your practice and correct your errors faster. However talent is only a marker for the sequencing you need to build upon.

Their impact is relevant but their importance in the task you wish to master is not. For it only changes which rung of the ladder you have started on.

If you want to say i don't have X or i cant do X because i was never given X. Then maybe you are focused too much on what your errors are, not just of your art but yourself and need to guide yourself on what you should be doing and what you should be working on.
