There are very few things I enjoy in life so "doing work" isn't a barrier. I drew 10 hours today but my bitch of a mother made me buy groceries at walmart so I didn't get the full 12 that I normally do.

I try to poop eight hours a day at least, but the need for mass to create poop is hard. I try to train my sphincter to be more disciplined everyday but it's a slow and arduous process.

Between 2-4 hours. I generally do enjoy drawing, but there are those days where everything I make is pretty bad and I end up getting frustrated and hate it.
The more I improve, the more I enjoy it... but its a slow process.

I usually like drawing, at least traditionally (drawing on a pad just feels weird)
But damn, the post-sketch clarity hits hard.

Sometimes I draw something and I'm like "this ain't too bad", then I post it somewhere and it doesn't get engaged with at all. Then it's like, "am I just shit and bad at judging my own stuff"
Am I even seeing the same thing as as other people.

But my brain is smooth so within a bit I'm just back to drawing because it feels good to draw.

Usually 30 minutes to an hour. Drawing is the least enjoyable activity I have ever engaged in, but I think that would change if I attained some sort of understanding of the process, reached /beg/-level, or ever visibly improved.

Some people just have very casual approaches to art and drawing and only draw when they feel like it, whereas others can be more austistic about it and draw for ages at a time.

I try and do 1 or 2 a day. Sometimes I do much more than 2 hours, sometimes I do nothing at all. I find that preparation is the hardest and most time consuming part a lot of the time because a lot of drawing is just figuring our what you want to do next, what to copy, what to practice, etc to a million other things.

Drawing is 30% "this is a fun and enjoyable creative pursuit" and 70% "this is the worst hobby of all time"

Do what I did, give yourself daily activities to do so you don’t need to wasts half the time deciding what to draw/copy. Mine is ball bustingly time consuming but the mileage and gains is great.

Not that my age has anything to do with it but my father was nearly 40 when he had me and my mother was over 30. I was BORN to be an autistic useless loser. Not even strong genes would have helped the weak egg and decrepit sperm that combined to spawn my fetus. And when I was a young boy my parents lacked the energy to train me or teach me. I sat in front of a television screen and watched cartoons as my teeth slowly rotted away from endless ice cream sandwiches and soda. I draw around 4 hours a day. And out of those, on average, 3 are spent doing lineart. and I fucking hate it. Sketching is fun though.

Drawing is the only thing I enjoy doing yet I struggle to do it daily. Even when I do draw i have a hard time doing it for more than three hours. I don't even do anything all day. I don't play video games, watch tv, or watch anime. I mostly just lay in bad all day.

we are in a pandemic, no work, no school, maybe online hw but if you are good at school you can get that shit out of the way, there are typically 14 hours in a day that you can use, manage it well, don't play any vidya or watch tv, just dedicate %100 of the time you have to perfect the craft. Its all I do, and its fun.

some anons in here can draw pretty gud, most of them don't draw 8 hours a day. Id say they draw for 10 fucking minutes and call it a day

Keep in mind that drawing is not the same as working out, There is no "rest days" you have be constantly drawing or else your progress can slow down.
