>It's hard to average it out, maybe 1 to 3 hours at the very least, or 15 hours at the most. You gotta quit your addictions anon. You need to get that natural affinity towards art which is the addiction to it. This whole board could have natural talent if they quit their addictions like 4chan, vidya, etc and just started learning how to draw.

The reason why people on this board procrastinate on art and complain about people having "talent" towards art is because they are giving themselves excuses on why they suck, the "talented" being better than them, and to not start on their art and get out of /beg/.

If you think this is a bait post or i'm lying that's on you. But seriously anon, you can make it and get some fucking discipline if you quit and associate art with positive feelings that make you wanna do more art.

Life is not an anime or a video game

People are not born a blank slate with the same ability to learn. You will never be Isaac Newton intelligence no matter how hard you study. You will never gain DaVinci's inventiveness no matter how long you sit and try to come up with a new idea. You will never be as strong as Magnus Von Magnuson no matter how many pushups you do.

Those are their natural predispositions thanks to their genetic makeup. Their bodies and brains are wired in a way that favors those specific abilities.

That doesn't mean you should give up, it means you should just accept you will never be the best, and that's okay. This isn't a game where you need to beat the final boss to win.

Many of you fail to understand that the key is not drawing 10 hours everyday. You need to have a feel for color usage and composition. That makes you a great artist. And then one hour of practice per day is more than enough.

If you draw anime girls all day you will never understand how to use color, composition and shapes. Broaden up your fov. Understand nature, understand light.
