I like your style a lot. Small pen/fixed pressure linework is underappreciated, and you've got the shape sense to go somewhere really unique with it. Gimme a blog I'll follow that shit right now.

That said, your hands, knees/lower legs, and head shape are holding you back I think. Your stuff is really blocky and volumetric, which is fantastic, so the only places it's not really jibing is where you're less confident in your forms. For instance, I don't think you could draw a 3D turnaround of the girl's head because I'm not sure you've settled 100% on what shape it actually is. It's a bit rounder and more symbol-y than the guy's head, which looks more confidently drawn imo.

Would mods allow an Anime General where the explicit rule is that people of all skill levels can post sfw and nsfw works that strive for the anime look? This thread could be the Cartoon General. I suppose this has been brought up in the past but I wasn't around for those discussions. What do you think, and what did people say back then? I think it would solve a lot of the tension on /ic/ surrounding east-west and sfw-nsfw. /asg/ could continue to exist as a place where people post studies and copies of anime art, supposing that enough people are doing those.

The ones that seem to stay up the longest have both an artist's work from the last thread and the "helpful guide" list in the OP in tandem. However, once someone posts loli or specific artist drama in the thread, it devolves into endless bickering and off-topic posting. It's probably easier for the mod to delete the thread rather than take the time to clean it up.
I would say there should be a thread made where everyone should try to be civil, just to see if the mod still deletes it, but people don't really like being told what to do.
