If I'm getting into art related profession but not exactly based on drawing, how do I at least maintain my drawing skill with minimum effort?

I like to draw but I just had at least a month long break, and it's not even my hand dexterity, but measuring proportions and eyeing perspective that's suffering the most. I like to draw life the most.
