Dont know what that is but it sounds funny and disappointing.

Is the most obsolete and archaic cintiq so far, it's like getting a Intel Celeron computer, it gets the work done, but with a million headaches, but it's the cheapest cintiq so some retards still buy it.

What cintiq should one get with an 800 dollar budget? Would it be a big upgrade from an xp pen 15.6?

>> No.4421396

>>4421295
Id say any cintiq in that price range isnt much of a upgrade, stick with your tablet or get a 16/24 cintiq pro to feel any significant difference, thats based on my experience at least, I think the XP-pen are the best of the alternatives out there, geez the color range is better than the one in the cintiq 16, just noisier pen and no VESA holes, but you can live without them, after all the tablet will only make your work more comfortable, it won't make you a better artist.

The smaller Cintiq Pro 13 is in that price range and is pretty fantastic. I moved from a Cintiq 27QHD to it months ago, and haven't looked back. It really is just that much better than the previous generations.
There's also the new non-pro Cintiq 16 that's even cheaper than the 13 pro. if you're really on a budget.
Both of them are good choices.

Or you could listen to a dumb fuck like >>4421396 that is probably shit at everything they do and lists off a bunch of buzzwords and stuff to cope with their shittier hardware choices.

Fair enough. I suppose I can work on upgrading my pc with ram and stuff first
>>4421405
I'll really just curious if it'd be a good buy being 800 usd, from what I already have bro. His answer was more helpful than yours

>> No.4421425

>>4421415
His answer was bullshit based around trying to make himself feel better for buying inferior goods by parroting marketing material from XP-pen. It's your mistake to make though.

Well I mean the 15.6 has been working fine for me at the moment, and I'm well aware that a good tool doesn't make a good artist. After thinking more about it, a thousand dollar upgrade does seem to be the mistake here unless my tablet does infact break, then I'll buy into wacom again. I do like wacom, but their cintiqs are quite expensive

You are fucking retarded, I have had both of them, that why I said "based on my experience" so please shut the fuck up you unsuffereable prick.

Based on my experience, people who are content with terrible Chinese Cintiq knockoffs are either so fucking beginner that making lines is a struggle for them, and so the disconnect between terrible hardware and real media doesn't really register to them, or so fucking numb to tactility that they could be drawing with an icicle on glass and they wouldn't notice any difference.
