i have never doodled in my life.

Used to, then I actually paid attention.

Been out of school for years now though.

All the time, but it's usually shapes and hands. Unless I pull out a ref then I'll do anything else. But sometimes I get a spark of creativity and draw something original.

In highschool I used to fill more pages with drawings than class notes. Shame that I threw away all those notebooks. Would've loved to see how I progressed over time.

Why do you even go to the lecture then? Attendance isn't mandatory. I got a minor in Compsci and I agree that it was pretty boring at times. With pure mathematics you can't really afford to not pay attention though.

Yeah, in some of my lectures the prof goes too fast to write notes. Doodling and listening helps me absorb the material better than hurrying.
