I'd say I'm the sketch master, but I draw with my shoulder and I'm getting better about following through with projects, even finishing some, so I'm closer to a former/redeemed sketch master. I am the entrepreneur. I started drawing for the sake of making video games (already know how to code, that's my day job).
I did fall for the zealot memes at first but I realized after a few months that autistically copying diagrams from Loomis and Robertson wasn't actually teaching me how to draw. I think I have a better method now though that's more of a blend of intuition/stylization and form/construction.
I hope I won't be an eternal /beg/.

Not that it's a competition, but I'm a serious last stander. I've been here on /ic/ for 4 or 5 years now, and I haven't drawn once. I don't mean inconsistently, I mean literally actually never. I've been obsessed with success without even thinking about what I want to draw, and I jumped headfirst into collecting resources and info without ever applying it. Time's gone by and it never happened, but I've based my persona, expectations and future on entering the industry. It's sort of devoured my focus from 16-23 and I'm only now going back and trying to think of whether or not I want to draw, or WHAT I want to draw. Very strange position to be in, like suddenly realizing the lat third of my life 'til now has been in denial.

Anyhow what should I draw?

Though I do make a little money through sites like redbubble and some odd freelance jobs.
My anatomy is whack as fuck (I do a lot more life drawing than I used to) but I do think I do textures well.

The zealot memes are that Loomis/Hampton/Robertson have everything you need to be a good artist, prioritize anatomical and perspective accuracy over everything else, you shouldn't progress to "higher stages" like rendering and color until you've completely mastered every prior stage in a linear fashion, stylization will hurt you and doing life studies will teach you more about stylization than studying actual stylized art will, if there's any problem in a work of art then it can always be solved by just using more Loomis.

Not nearly enough, it's hard to get motivated when all I draw looks like shit. Sometimes there are periods where I really enjoy drawing and that's when I spend a lot more time doing it and my art looks a lot better (even looking back on it after being "better", I can tell when I liked drawing at the time)
