The Apple iPad Pro 12.9 with the Apple Pencil.
Once the next revision comes out, traditional art will be reduced to a small niche among old boomers who can't accept a changing world.

Someone explain why do so, to a beg? Seems like you're just tracing pen/cil lineart so might as well do digital in the first place?

sketch and ink traditionally, render digitally.

There's a certain slight texture/roughness, even in really clean linework that is traditional, that you can't emulate without special brushes digitally. It adds an aesthetic that I can't quite describe but it improves artwork with lines as a base immensely.

I do it all the time. I usually do a bunch of gesture sketches/roughs/ thumbnails in my sketchbook then scan them and do a full piece digitally.
it's the best of both worlds. I get the lax setting of traditional where I can draw for hours with no eye strain and loosen up as much as possible. and I get the full tools and workflow of digital.
it's really nice and my art has noticeably improved from it.
pic related is art I did this way.

Drawing "proper" is the right term. Tablets are for cheaters and hipsters. Get that fucking ink and paper you pleb.
