It's not as bad as dreaming inside of a dream. Those are the worst. You think you've finally woken up from that nightmare only for things to seem a bit off. Go through your whole adventure again, wake up for reals this time and you can tell because there's no dream vision. Extremely tiring.

I heard counting on your fingers or reading the time can help figure out if you're in a dream, cause the dream adds extra fingers or something, so if you make it a habit of finger counting whenever you think you're in a dream, and one day it counts wrong, you'll realize you're dreaming and BAM, you can start exercising your dream control on things.

since mangaka use print they'll probably draw digitally on the corresponding print size, so there is no loss when scaling down
it's somewhere close to DIN A5, but it has some whacky specific ratios, i think
if you use CSP i'm sure they have the usual manga page size in their pre-settings
also mangaka would draw on something between 300 and 600 dpi, which you wouldn't need if you only plan to publish it digitally, but would only be necessary if you plan to print it in the end

Drawing from imagination requires you to first just be able to draw basic shapes from imagination. Just start doing that, no one is going to make fun of you regardless but definitely not for drawing boxes.

I find it interesting knowing artists that only draw from imagination and can't bring themselves to go through the slog of studying, and artists that only study and are too scared to try to draw from imagination.
As always with these things, the key to continual growth is a balance between the two. The Goldilocks zone where you are both studying and drawing from imagination.
It's easy to stick to one thing you're used to because that is your comfort zone, but little growth will occur without expanding your zone of knowledge.

Add a little bit of imagination drawing to your studying, add a little bit of studying to your imaginative drawings, like a mother introducing greens to her child, you start with a little, make it a habit, and in time they're eating a healthy meal.

sure, a grasp on anatomy, perspective, color and shading helps, but you don't have to be master at it
while working from imagination it's just important to try new things or impliment stuff you think is appealing and will help your work overall gradually

I think you have to beat that feeling because the other person will not think "oh he must be shy", the other person will think you are arrogant. Let's say you make it, you might have people that want to draw dropping messages how much they like your stuff every day, a million times more than just gay dad comments. If you occasionally respond with some wisdom it may mean the world to them and you have an ally for life.

Pointing out mistakes is just part of critique. You can put things you think are mean in such a way that people will appreciate them. It's a skill I think, and on consequence-free internet I think it is a good time to practice not turning the person against you yet still letting your points come across
