looks fine yeah, but, between the sketch and the lineart, there is no much difference because you can develop your lines to get the lineart level in the same time that the sketch level, or some point in the middle. I said that because it depends of what your market want, mostly i think people want somekind of "finished look", so they don't gonna go that much to the sketch stage unless you make them look more appealing, what you can do with practice, so in that time yo could just made the lineart option more fast, and just develop the higher ones, also there is no clear difference in that image between to last two options, so maybe you could learn some other thing to provide more price and gain something, like for example: add characters to the scene

$300?
The best advice I can give you for someone that is as skilled as you is to not put a set price on your art. Put a rough price, where you feel like you get a good $/hr, and adjust that based on the piece. Does someone want something a bit rougher? Is the concept simpler? Do they want a background? Communication is important. Overall, you can surely make a job out of this with some research and dedication.

>>4262742
I find your style appealing enough, but with that B&W finish, you're better off selling "sketch pages" with several illustrations of the same character doing different things. It's fun to do and allows you to charge a larger amount at once instead of selling 300 3 dollar commissions.

>>4264341
Being honest, the shading makes it worse.
At least try separating your drawings with flat layers of value (one for foreground, one for character, one for background and so on), then the shading might work or just not be necessary. Focus on ambient occlusion if you don't want to waste too much time with detailed shading.

If instead of being a smartass you corrected me from the start on whatever it is that I'm wrong, this petty back and forth wouldn't be necessary.

Pic related is James Gurney describing "Occlusion Shadows" in the way I did (or attempted to do) on the drawing.
Is the problem me using the wrong term?
If so, here's Marco Bucci calling the nook of a resting sphere's shadow "Ambient Occlusion". This is not the only place I've seen it being called that:
https://youtu.be/gwLQ0cDb4cE?t=493

Is the problem something else entirely?
Do you wanna share it with the class? Provide corrections if you can, stop being vague.

Demand has to do with a lot of things, not just quality of art.
