So are you just looking for others to moan and whine or are you looking to improve? Why not explain you view and have a discussion instead?

The issue here is a form of tunnel vision you can fall into by working on a piece for extended hours; by flipping the canvas, using a mirror or even taking a break, you tear you vision away from what you were doing and can see your work from a new angle. This helps you address issues and fix them accordingly. Obviously having someone you trust look at it would be the best option, getting a reliable second option will always be best, but this is the alternative for most.

If you have another way I would love to hear it, who knows, I might like it too.
