I looked back at all your pieces and I'd say the silhouette is what generally sells it to me, you have a strong sense for them.
It means the shapes are very easy to read and there isn't much clutter of details that would make it confusing.

Well, I can't tell how much of your current choices are due to the constraints of keeping up with Inktober, but the exact same subjects could look cool if they suggested more perspective. As is - and I suffer from the same problem -, it generally feels more like a design/icon showcase than a scene supposed to evoke something. Nothing wrong with a more 2D approach, but in that case the design has to be the selling point of the picture, not improvised.

Yeah the 2dness is largely inktober constraints. I plan on choosing the ones I think could be the best conceptually and making them into more proper artpieces with backgrounds and the like.
